Cingular Fights Sale Of Customer Records

Mobile Burn has an article about Cingular's battle against people illegally obtaining their customer call records.

My issues with news like this is that Cingular should have systems in place to prevent the ability of these records from getting out in the first place. Fine, procecute the people who have crossed the law, but the carriers also need to be held accountable for the leak in the first place.
